Olamis AI LLC (“Olamis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is building AI our children can trust. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website at olamis.ai (the “Site”). Because we serve families, schools, and the children in their care, we hold ourselves to K-12 privacy best practices and to the laws that protect students and children.

Our privacy commitments at a glance

We do not sell your personal information — ever.
We do not use children’s or students’ data for targeted advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles of students.
We collect the minimum information needed, and use it only for the purposes described in this policy.
Our learning platform is not yet available to families, so we are not collecting personal information from children through this Site today.
When our platform launches, student data will be governed by the laws that protect children and students (including COPPA and FERPA and applicable state student-privacy laws) and by our agreements with the schools and families we serve.
You can contact us any time to access, correct, or delete your information.

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to the Olamis website and to the limited information we collect through it — for example, when you contact us, request a demo, or join our waitlist. Our forthcoming learning platform is a separate service. When it becomes available, it will be governed by a more detailed privacy notice and by our agreements with the schools and parents who use it.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form on the Site — to contact us, request a demo, or join our waitlist — we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, organization or role, and any message you send.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our Site records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view, and uses a small number of cookies (see “Cookies and analytics” below). If we use website analytics, we use a privacy-respecting service that measures aggregate usage and does not sell your data or track you across other websites.

We do not knowingly collect information from children through this Site. The Site is intended for adults — parents, guardians, educators, and administrators. See “Children’s and student privacy” below.

To respond to your inquiries and requests, including demo requests.
To send you updates you have asked for, such as waitlist or product news — you can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party or targeted advertising.

4. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use a limited number of them to make the Site work and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used. If we use analytics, we choose a privacy-respecting provider that does not build advertising profiles or track you across other sites. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the Site may work less smoothly without them.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only in these limited situations:

Service providers who help us operate the Site — such as website hosting, email delivery, and analytics — and who are obligated to protect your information and use it only on our behalf.
Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Olamis, our users, or the public.
Business transfers, if Olamis is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your information would remain protected under a policy consistent with this one.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks.

6. Children’s and student privacy

Protecting children and students is central to who we are. Today, our learning platform is not yet available to families, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this Site. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

When our learning platform launches, we design for student privacy from the ground up, and we commit to the following K-12 best practices:

COPPA. Before collecting personal information from a child under 13, we will obtain verifiable parental consent, or rely on a school’s authorization for educational use where permitted under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and applicable guidance.
FERPA. When we work with a school or district, we act as a “school official” with a legitimate educational interest. We use student education records only for the educational purposes the school directs, under the school’s control, and we do not re-disclose them improperly.
State student-privacy laws. We honor applicable state laws that protect students — such as California’s Student Online Personal Information Protection Act (SOPIPA) and Texas’s student data privacy protections — which prohibit selling student data, advertising to students, and building non-educational profiles of students.
Data minimization and purpose limitation. We collect only the student data needed to provide and improve the learning experience, and we use it only for that purpose.
No sale, no advertising. We never sell student data and never use it for targeted advertising or to build advertising profiles.
Parent and school control. Parents and schools can review, correct, and request deletion of student data, and can withdraw consent.
Security and retention. We protect student data with appropriate safeguards and keep it only as long as needed for educational purposes or as the school directs, and then delete or de-identify it.
A person stays in charge. Consistent with our product principles, a qualified adult remains responsible for each learner’s experience, and the platform’s decisions are designed to be explainable.

Before the platform is made available to any school or family, we will provide the detailed student-data terms that govern it, so that parents and educators can make an informed choice.

7. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and the appropriate authorities of a data breach when required by law.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, and then we delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete information you have provided at any time.

9. Your rights and choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have given us.
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in each message.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — for example, under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation. We honor applicable rights; contact us to exercise them.
